Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy or Biologic Therapy is a type of treatment designed to boost the body’s natural defenses to fight various diseases, especially cancer. It uses substances either made by the body or in a laboratory to improve or restore immune system function. This can be done by stimulating our own immune system to work in a better way to attack diseased cells (eg. cancer cells) and thus stopping or slowing the growth of diseased cells or cancer cells.
